Never Give Up: Ted Jaleta's Inspiring Story is Deana's second book as an author. It was co-published by Deana Driver and her partners Ted Jaleta and Peggy Collins (JDC Productions) in October 2006. Never Give Up is the amazing true story of African-born Ted Jaleta, who overcame tremendous obstacles in his life to triumph as a world-class athlete, coach, humanitarian and leader in Canada.

Created by Tracy Jones (Bourne) with additions and editing by Deana Driver, the 97-page Teacher Workbook assists students in studying the contents of Never Give Up one chapter at a time from either an English or Social Studies perspective.
